A BIT ABOUT SUZIE SEWS
My sewing journey started with the gift of a small machine with which I create handkerchiefs and blankets for my dolls.

As a teenager I made my own clothes, and as a young mother I made outfits for my children. With the introduction of cheap mass produced clothing there was less incentive to make clothes so I began quilting.
In 1990 I was living in Canberra next door to a professional quilter and learnt many skills from her. Since then I have attended many quilting workshops and participated in fibre arts retreats. I have been creating quilts, wallhangings, bags and clothes for family for many years.

Having worked as a teacher and specialized in supporting children with learning and behavioural needs, I have taken a break from education to establish my home based business.
